Kilian Jornet has been proclaimed Individual Race world champion after achieving another victory in the Vertical Kilometre.

The Ski Mountaineering World Championships are being held this week in Verbier, Switzerland.

Kilian Jornet still has two more chances of winning a medal in the Team Race and in Relays.

'A gold medal in the star race is very stimulating. I felt very good during the race and, the truth is, I am very satisfied with how this World Championship is going,' declared Kilian Jornet.
