Kilian Jornet has been proclaimed World Champion in the Vertical Race.

It took Jornet 39'26'' to complete the 847-meter climb held in the Swiss resort of Verbier.
 
‘It has been was a great race. I felt very good and I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. Running in Verbier, a place where ski mountaineering tradition is  everywhere, is always highly motivating,’ explained Kilian Jornet.
