Kilian Jornet finished in first place in the Valtellina Orobie and crossed the finish line alongside Boscacci in a fair play gesture, but organizers gave Jornet the victory after viewing the photo finish. The second individual race of the Ski Mountaineering World Cup was held this morning in Italy.

"It was a very technical race in the upper parts. The last descent, which had to be done with the skis in the backpack, was very icy. Boscacci and I were reaching the finish together. We decided that security had to prevail and therefore that we would cross the finish line together, prioritizing fair play," declared Kilian Jornet.
