Kilian Jornet presents the documentary Inside Kilian on Rakuten TV. The film will be part of the free and exclusive content offered by the VOD platform and which began with the series Matchday – Inside FC Barcelona and the documentary MessiCirque.

The behind the scenes film will show Jornet out of his usual environment and follow the athlete’s world tour last year. It will also look at an unusual year in the life of Kilian Jornet, who suffered two injuries and managed to complete some sports projects he had had in mind for a long time, in addition to receiving great news: his future fatherhood.

Asia, United States and Europe. On a frenetic tour around the world, Kilian Jornet showed us another side to him and what an elite athlete's daily life is beyond the mountains. Revealing his most personal side, Kilian reflects on a 2018 marked by injuries, his search for the balance between competition and personal projects, and also the news of the arrival of his first daughter.

“‘Inside Kilian’ is a documentary unlike those we have made until now, since we go beyond the mountain to give some idea of what we do as elite athletes. It also reviews a year that was very special for me, with good and bad times”, Kilian Jornet explained

The documentary is produced by Lymbus, whose other films include “Path to Everest”, which focuses on the double ascent of Everest by Kilian Jornet and which became one of the 50 most viewed films in Spain in 2018. The film is also currently available on the VOD and Vimeo platforms, as well as Amazon Prime.

Inside Kilian will premiere on 13 February on Rakuten TV and will be available in the 42 European countries where the platform provides its service.
