Victory for kilian jornet in the vertical race in the ski mountaineering world cup

Kilian Jornet won the Vertical Race in the Ski Mountaineering World Cup held in Puy Sant Vincent (France) this morning. On Saturday he took part on the individual race where he couldn't score due to a track mistake

"I'm happy with the result of today. My sensations were good. In the beginning Tony Palzer and I ran off ahead and at about half the race I managed to get away from him to finally achieve the victory."

Jornet will now prepare for the next event of the World Cup to be held in Andorra on 24th and 25th January in order to be "as high as possible", as he himself commented.
