The athlete gets his third championship in the long distance event after winning the Sky Running championship a few weeks ago.
 
Jornet has scored enough points to clinch the championship by winning yesterday in The Rut, the American 50km race held in Montana, USA.
 
"I really felt very good throughout the race and enjoyed winning it, as it was a race I did not know. I'm pleased with the result but, above all, with the regularity of the season, as I have felt very good in all race modalities. Now it’s time to go for a win in the Vertical Kilometre. It will be difficult but I will try", declared Kilian Jornet.
