The athlete has been proclaimed Skyrunning World Champion for the seventh time. With still a race to finish the series, no other athlete could achieve the necessary points to win the championship

The Skyrunning World Series is a five-races event in short distance (20 to 40km). Jornet won the first three races (Zegama, Canazei and Sierre-Zinal) and after resting in Matterhorn Ultraks he has planned to finish the season in Limone

"I'm very happy to be able to repeat the title, as it's a price to regularity, and I'm satisfied as I felt very good throughout the season. Now there's still some races left in the Ultrarunner World Series, where I hope to achieve also good results", said Kilian Jornet
